One arena where liberals talent is unmatched, is the art of redirection. It seems that they can put a spin on any bad media, which is rare, and use it to their advantage. It is incredible how Barney Frank somehow avoided any blame for the housing crisis even though he played a key role in encouraging banks to make loans to unqualified buyers. Then we have to consider Tim Geitner and his role in the AIG bailouts that resulted in huge bonuses for failed executives. Why is it that these events have created so much anger among the American people, but no anger is directed at either of these liberals. If these two guys were conservatives, they would have been crucified. Liberals are masters at redirecting the blame that is owed them to a suitable scapegoat. Oh how easy it is to blame the problems of the current administration on the past administration and big business.
I thought it was humorous that Obama excused the massive debt he is proposing for America with pointing his finger at Bush. Is it not ironic that Bush amassed that debt with the first round of bailouts that Obama is so eager to continue? Yet another example of how well liberals can redirect questions that they cannot answer into a cheap shot at conservatives. I guess the sad thing is that America is buying it.
